Damion Frye is an accomplished New Jersey school administrator who has engaged with Seth Boyden Demonstration School as principal since 2016. In this role, he has facilitated professional development and mentored teachers in impact-driven lesson planning within dynamic learning environments. Damion Frye has also coordinated closely with the Parent Teacher Organization in developing a diverse and involved community of parents.
Mr. Frye’s professional experience extends to a role as English teacher with the Benjamin Banneker Charter School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Among his accomplishments was creating the first school curriculum for 8th grade language arts. He subsequently taught middle school math and science at the North Star Academy Charter School of Newark, where he introduced an ASK 8 supplemental course to bring students up to speed on core concepts.
As an adjunct professor at New York University from 2006 to 2009, Mr. Frye was responsible for the design of a Inquires II curriculum, and he also undertook classroom duties involving the observation and mentoring of future teachers. Damion Frye enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, and swimming in the Delaware River in his free time.
